Plants need silicon to build strong cell walls that protects the plant from diseases. It also helps the plant grow a stronger root system that will withstand drought and root diseases. Additionally, silicon aides in giving the plant a better defense system which help fight stress. Most soils have abundant silicon in them, but little is available to the plant.

Silicon protects against:

  • Powdery mildew
  • Thrips
  • Grey mold
  • Aphids
  • Root diseases
  • Mites Stem Rot
  • Temperature Stress

Key Benefits:

  • Stronger Immune System
  • Healthier Plants
  • Better Yields
  • Improved Stress Resistance
  • Enhanced Plant Growth
  • Pest Control
  • Improved Overall Vigor

Application Rates:

  • 8 ounces per acre foliar and dripline applications

SiGuard 84% Silica

SiGuard should be used early in the plant’s growth cycle and continued throughout the growing season. Silica builds a gloss-like coating on the surface of the leaves which will shatter as the plant grows, so it is necessary to provide a continual supply to promote the protection SiGuard provides. It can be mixed with whatever else you may be spraying, but it should be mixed in water before pouring into a big tank.

SiMag 58

SiMag 58 contains 5% Potassium, 5% Chelated Magnesium and 8% Silica. It was formulated for use where magnesium deficiency is likely to occur, with primary uses being in tomato greenhouses and high tunnels.
